47% of Re-homed Dogs Are Returned for Behavior Issues
Every time a dog is moved around, there is a significant emotional impact on them. There is a real need for dog rehabilitation in rescues to make foster dogs adoptable and find their forever homes.
There are some great dog owners who simply cannot fit dog training into their budget. Most people want to keep their dogs, but some behavior problems can threaten the safety of household members or other family pets. These owners may have no other choice but to re-home.
This is where The Canine Training Project comes in. We want everyone to have access to dog training. We provide income-based positive reinforcement, force free virtual training and free workshops. We also provide support to 501c3 Rescues through behavior consultations and behavior modification.
